Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU)
The MLSU was established in 1962 with the motive of providing higher education to the southern parts of Rajasthan. There are more than 250 colleges in Rajasthan that are affiliated to MLSU. Four of the on-campus universities that are established in Udaipur include University College of Law, University College of Social Sciences & Humanities, University College of Commerce & Management Studies, and University College of Science.
Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU)
The renowned organization IIM was an initiative by the Indian Government to provide world class education and produce elite managers from all around the country.
In 2009, the creation of Indian Institute of Management Udaipur was approved and in 2011 with a temporary building in the MLSU main Campus the institute was introduced. Later in 2016, they were shifted to their own permanent building in Balicha constructed on a land of 300 acres; IIMU has established its stable elite position in the city.
Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT)
MPUAT is the second Agriculture University of Rajasthan and it was established in 1999, the constituent colleges under MPUAT include Rajasthan College of Agriculture Udaipur, College of Dairy and Food Science Technology Udaipur, College of Technology & Engineering Udaipur, College of Fisheries Udaipur, College of Community & Applied Science Udaipur, and College of Agriculture Bhilwara
Geentanjali University (GMCH)
The Geentanjali Medical College & Hospital is the constituent college of the Geetanjali University; the university website claims the intake of around 150 MBBS students each year.
Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth Udaipur (JRNRVU)
The oldest university of Rajasthan, which was established in 1937, there are now more than 50 colleges affiliated to this university. Whereas, in 2017 the news of the Supreme Court of India cancelling the degrees of the students that passed after 2005 from Vidhyapeeth has surely created distrust amongst the people of Udaipur.
Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU)
It is a residential university located at the outskirts of Udaipur at Bhatewar. Courses offered by SPSU include School of Engineering, School of Management, and School of Basic Sciences & Humanities. This university is surely not famous amongst the students much; we’d recommend you to consult to the Alumni for their experience in the college.
Pacific University was established in 1997, over the past years it has managed to establish over 21 institutes in various fields including Management, Engineering, Fashion, Medical, Agriculture, Arts, Law, Dairy & food, Yoga, Mass Communication, Hotel Management, Fire & Safety, and a lot more.
